SEO On Page Optimization Guidelines

on page optimization

In search engine optimization, on-page optimization refers to factors that influence the listing of a website or web page in search results. These elements are controlled by you or by using coding. This includes HTML code, meta tags, keyword placement, and keyword density.

Head section optimization

Header optimization mainly focuses on snippets, including SEO titles, URLs, and meta descriptions.

1. Title tags

The title is the focus keyword with a meaningful description. Must be 55-60 characters long, including spaces and special characters. The title should be 512 pixels wide. Therefore, the title cannot contain 70 characters. If no title is specified, Google will automatically get the H1 tag as the title. There are some rules for writing SEO titles.
  • The title must be unique.
  • The title is impressive.
  • Contains Focusing Keywords.
  • title must not be uppercase
  • No spelling or grammatical errors.

2. URL

A URL is primarily used to refer to a web page, a component of a web page, or a program on a web site. A resource name consists of:

The domain name that identifies the server or web service.
Program name or path to file on the server.

3. Meta description

The meta description is a brief description of the web service and the focus is also important. This cannot be avoided. If you don't provide a meta description, Google will automatically include it as a meta description.
So we have to deal with these things

  • A short explanation.
  • 20-word limit.
  • Unique For
  • pages, the meta description must be between 155 and 160, so the pixel width is 1024.

Body section optimization

Body tags:

H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6 are body tags. An H1 tag is a visible or identifying part of a body part. Usually used for main headings. The number of words that can be used in the H1 tag is about 8 to 10 words. If the H1 is irrelevant, Google will get the headline from the H2 tag.

Content optimization

Content is the most important part of your website. Content can be text, links, images, or anything else. The body or visible part of the content is the anchor text, which is added to the text as a hyperlink. A hyperlink can act as a link. So don't use focused keywords as anchor text.
What are the rules to follow when writing content?

  • The opening sentence may contain a focused keyword.
  • Use simple sentences of 20 words or less.
  • Space after period and comma.

Keyword Density

Keyword Density. This shows how many keywords appear on this page compared to the total word count on this page. 2-5% is normal and keyword density depends on content length.

Image optimization

Mainly based on 3 factors. This includes alternate names, filenames, and content that is close to images.
The Alt tag is probably the most important image enhancement element. Alt stands for Alternate.

Authorship optimization

Authorship optimization is a way to tie article authors to Google profiles. Communicate the identity of the author to the reader of the content. The attribute rel="author" checks that you are the author. Increase the effectiveness and uniqueness of your articles through authorship.

How to Optimize Authorship?

  • Create a Google Plus profile.
  • Specifies the label name for the page. Then click the Link button > Add Google Plus Profile URL > OK
  • Click HTML on the top left of the page and insert the rel="author" attribute in the anchor tag.
